    • Classwork - Investigating the nature of heat and cold. Students worked through a paper and handed it in for classwork credit.
    • Homework: Look around your home. Find 5 places that heat is moved from one place to another. List them and explain in what way heat is moved. Example: My computer: A fan moves hot air from inside the case to outside of the case.

    • Homework: Find a scientific claim on the web, in a newspaper, or on TV. List the source (so I can find it if need be). Write a complete paragraph describing the claim. Write at least one complete sentence saying why you think it is true or false. (a scientific claim is when someone tries to convince you of something with scientific evidence)
